there has been a lot of talk about whether the recent outages here on tribe are foreshadowing the closing of tribe or something. I have heard that they are terribly understaffed (5-8 employees).

Anyway, I don't know if anything will happen, but some folks have started up groups on www.ning.com. They are social networks, so each network is kinda like tribe. I don't understand the navigation very well yet, but while looking around, I stumbled upon a place called www.paganspace.net that has a lot of nice folks and discussions. I think paganspace.net is the social network because I found it while looking at a group called "Cooking with Witches".

A couple of nice features are that you can customize your page and have videos, etc and you can edit and delete your comments in a discussion.

I'm not sure it is as easy to navigate as tribe, but it's a nice place to be if tribe goes away.
